I wrote this song for my oldest daughter. She lives with her mother 2000 miles away in a mountain village and I don't get to see her for weeks at a time. I used to sing this song to her every night. As much as I wrote the song for her I also wrote it for myself. I miss her so much at times, I have to sing this song to let the world know I am always with her. Even when I cant be.
